BioTerrorism, “Chem trails”, etc.: We’re Frikkin Screwed

ok, right now im watching this show on tv and they started talking about bioterrorism and that really got me listening. their saying that NOW there are possible ways of spreading viruses, infections, and possibly diseases through bioterrorism. ok, they started off saying that small pox or something had been infecting alot of people through postage (mail service and whatnot) a little bit after 9/11 along with another sickness (the name slips my mind right now). anyway, a while back one of my teachers (either in 7th or 8th grade) was teaching us about the Middle Ages. they got to talking about the “Black Death”, aka, Bubonic Plague, and they eventually got to saying that one day, they will find a way of infecting the USA with the Black Death when us kids, teens, and young adults get to be a little in our old age (60’s, 70’s, you get the idea). the way i see it, we’re frikkin screwed. all thanks to Bill Clinton (one of my relatives say that he gave away the US’s secrets that have something to do with weapons, and possibly nuclear stuff to the Chinese). great job butthead! if those secrets end up in the wrong hands, like say, if they were to get stolen or something, they would have the knowledge on alot of weapon and nuclear advancements and would probably be able to start bombing America kind of like the attack on Pearl Harbor. and dont even get me started on the “Conspiracy Theory” of Chem trails. ok, i asked my dad what they were cuz i had seen a few videos on YouTube (i didnt watch the entire video…..short attention span sometimes), right? well, he started saying that its a conspiracy theory of the government tainting the air with some kind of frikkin chemicals or something through those smoke trail things that jets give off and everything. he also said that alot of people think that they put crap like viruses in those “Chem trails” and that really set an alarm off for me. yeh sure, it may be from all the sugar cuz im a kid and everything, you would think, but i think that if the government REALLY IS doing crap like this, then we’re REALLY screwed now. i mean, they shouldn’t be doing this. those frikkin scientists are doing a little too much cuz they think they’re all high and mighty and stuff cuz they can find cures for stuff like depression, anxiety, and all this and now they’re getting extreme here. ok, think of it this way, the killer bee is a hybrid, right? thats cuz some idiot messed around with mother nature and got something that has a very bad temper, and will stop at nothing to sting you to death (forget about jumping in a lake, people. they’ll wait there till you get out of the water). thats what may end up happening when they create something they have absolutely no control over (like i said in my last blog, “What IF”). yeh sure, its cuz i might be watching too many zombie-related movies, but what if this really does happen and we ALL get infected with something they will have NO cure for? its like ive been saying before with bioterrorism. what if they (and by they, i mean anybody), what if they somehow find a way of transporting some kind of frikkin infection or disease or something that we have no cure for or very few antidotes, vaccines, etc. and we have no evac plan (or it doesnt work)? people that are fighting in the war against America and our allies may possibly, and i mean possibly, know that that can weaken our defenses when it comes to fighting back in a possible invasion, knowing that they’ll be victorious, even if it costs them a few of their men/women as well. i dont know, alot of things are starting to get to me right now, especially with the war that started with the invasion of Afgahnastan thats been going on for what, about 5 YEARS NOW?!?!? alot of our men and women are dying out there for what seems like an endless war that needs to come to an end. sure, without war, theres no possible way to co-exist or whatever, i know that. the US has had to fight in many wars and battles, which started off with rebelling against the British and unfair taxation and non-representation, then it slowly built on to becoming the Civil War (most of the homeland battles were basically about slavery and possibly human rights). we’ve become stronger every time a battle has been won, and when i say battle, the phrase “you may have won the battle, but you havent won the war”, comes to mind. even though we have become stronger as a country through each battle, but what if something like this happens and we’re too weak to fight back???? what if it winds up getting to our soldiers and everything and the majority end up dying and we have, lets say a few hundred thousand left??? i dont know what else there is to say at this point……………………………..

What IF?

Ok, I dont know if its because of the fact that I watched “I Am Legend” and “The Mist” back to back, but I will say this: recent advances in technology and science may or can lead to many great discoveries in life, but sometimes those discoveries can also backfire.  A few months back I was watching either the DiscoveryChannel or the ScienceChannel, and I happened to be watching a segment of these scientists who were (and possibly still are) trying to figure out how to reverse the genetics of a chicken embryo. Sounds cool, right? Not the way I see it. I think its a BIG mistake. They did however figure out how to reverse a baby chicken embryo’s primitive genetics, revealing that that may have had a tail back in their prehistoric days (well, of coarse they may be related to Tyranasorous Rex’s for those of you who are Jurassic Park movie fans). It may not happen in the next few years down the line, but believe me, something is going to end up happening. Sure, it sounds crazy now, but it really gets me thinking, “What will happen if all this goes too far? What if we wind up creating something that we CANNOT fix?” Yeh, sure, I’m only a 14 year old, but that doesnt mean I’m stupid and dont know whats going on. Yeh sure, I may be watching too many movies with zombies and other science-fiction movies, but it really can happen. We getting to become how some would “too big for our britches” when it comes to technology. Some things that have changed over time should not be changed back to its original form when it comes to certain scientific studies. In other words, some things in life that are being messed around with, should never be messed around with. I mean,one day, one fateful day, it could all blow up in the face of humanity. In my opinion, life could wind up changing for the worst, and its already happening right now. With gas prices, food prices, the whole thing. And yes, it would be great if they found some kind of cure for diabetes, cancer, and other various diseases, but then again, it may not be so great. Im not saying that Im against it, but Im just asking, “What If?” What IF they find a cure for something and start trying to cure people right away BEFORE they study the side affects and other various information that is critical? What IF they end up figuring out how to reverse the genetics of some animal embryo and it winds up becoming something completely out of control? That is the very big problem: yeh sure we got stuff like computers, mp3’s, tv sets, cell phones, and other various successes in technology, but what IF something goes wrong? Like something out of Jurassic Park 1, 2, and 3? Or “The Mist” and “I Am Legend”? I know those are all just movies, you dont need to point that out to me. I know they are just movies, but all Im saying is that alot of things in life really should be left alone and stay that way. What do you think?
